Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, leading, and executing projects ranging from small to highly complex, strategic initiatives. This position works across functional teams and organizational levels to ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively, on time, within scope, and within budget.

The level of responsibility, project complexity, leadership expectations, and degree of autonomy will be aligned with the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and demonstrated project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead projects from initiation through successful completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and execution strategies.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple functional teams, departments, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues and develop solutions when appropriate.
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication with project teams, leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, reporting, records, and project controls.
  • Support or establish project governance structures and processes appropriate to project size and complexity.
  • Manage project changes and ensure impacts to scope, schedule, cost, and resources are appropriately evaluated and communicated.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and promote effective collaboration.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, contractual requirements, and organizational objectives.
  • Provide project status updates, recommendations, and performance information to appropriate levels of leadership.
  • Support strategic initiatives and organizational change efforts as assigned.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams and less experienced project management personnel, as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned to support Project and organizational objectives.

Qualifications / Experience

Education 

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • 1-8 years of project coordination or project management experience.
  • Project management, project coordination, or related experience required.
  • Experience managing projects of increasing size, complexity, and organizational impact preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with large-scale, complex, or strategic projects is preferred for candidates being considered for higher levels of responsibility.
  • PMP certification is preferred.

Working Conditions

This position is expected to work a standard full-time schedule in a Construction Environment. Additional hours, including evenings and weekends may be required periodically to meet project deadlines and support business needs.
